Your guide, Kate Willis, is an ecologist with a BSc in zoology, a PhD in aquatic ecology, and many years experience as an environmental scientist. Kate has spent many years studying and watching wildlife in Scotland, New Zealand, Tasmania, and Spitsbergen. After setting up and running Caithness Wildlife Tours for four years in the far north of Scotland, and achieving a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, Kate moved to Lochaber with her family, and is now offering wildlife walks
and bespoke tours in Fort William. Kate has completed the Art of Guiding Level 2, Guiding the Extra Mile,
and is a trained summer Mountain Leader. She is a member of the Scottish Ornithologist's Club and
Lochaber Natural History Society.
